What we like about this independent brand is that, it offers a clean sophisticated look for when you want to dress up but don’t wanna go button downed. This week, The Hundreds are pleased to announce the debut of two new models for Fall 2010 Footware collection: the Jackson Low-Top and the Wayne High-Top. A few weeks back we had the honor and privilege to the owner and creator of this amazing product. Sneaker shields are a product I wish I had since way back, I could had stretched the life of many of my limited AF1’s, Bathing Apes and other kicks. Sneaker shields formally known as Wearable Shoe Trees is a hard yet flexible rubber product that goes on the inside of your shoes. As many of you know many sneakers and dress shoes, especially any patent leather styles, tend to get a nasty crease around the toes as you step. After a while the crease can get so bad the paint starts to chip or the kicks just look to old that you retire them. Now I have done many many things to keep my kicks from getting that first unforgiving earthquake line, from stuffing paper to walking flat footed especially when they are straight out the box. Luckily we now have a real good solution called Sneaker Shields. And as many of you are doubtful of believing the hype so were we. however we had the opportunity to get our hands on some samples and try them out for a few days. When we received the package from the good folks at Mykicksarefresh we were more than thrilled to see how this product stood up to its hype and after all the testing we can proudly say we strongly recommend Sneaker Shields. Now don’t get us wrong this is not a miracle worker but it will extend the life of your kicks and what can be better than that. One of the main questions we had was are they comfortable, and truly after a few minutes I couldn’t remember they were in there. Kaws whose real name is Brian Donnelley has consistently been commissioned by the likes of Pharrell Williams, Nigo, Kanye West, The Clipse and more to create some of todays modern masterpieces in urban/contemporary art. And wether you might know it or not, many of you have secretly been fans of Kaws’s work because prior to his present career he worked as a background artist for such animated tv shows as Nickelodeon’s Doug and Disney’s 101 Dalmatians.
